My second book titled, “Food is Fun,” was released in April of 2022.  This book is a rhyming book that also features Gia talking about the foods that she enjoys eating for various meals and snacks. There are complimentary illustrations on each page that include the words for each food to help young children with learning to read. This book also includes humor and Gia’s funny expressions.

It is my hope that you and your child enjoy this book because everyone loves to eat. This book can help children learn more about food choices and maybe inspire them to try new things. This book also includes a coloring page at the end along with a short author biography. It is available on Amazon as a paperback and a Kindle ebook. Please click on the link below.

Food is Fun is an introduction to all kinds of foods – salty and sweet. Not all are good in big amounts but definitely fun to try and Gia is reminded that it is always best to take it slow. A good conversation starter on trying different assortments of foods with your kids. The book is a fun way for children to identify pictures of food and also spelling out or sounding out words, with a coloring page at the end.

“3 P’s for Potty” is my first children’s picture book that focuses on educating toddlers or preschool age children on appropriate toileting behavior. It features my cartoon character, Gia, who has a discussion with her mother about what can and cannot go into the toilet. There is humor and an interesting exchange about the various items that Gia thinks are appropriate for the potty.

This book is near and dear to my heart because I became inspired by my youngest daughter. She would constantly try to bring little toys into the bathroom while going potty. Of course, some of those toys had to be fished out of the toilet because she would either drop them in by accident or on purpose. She and I had many discussions about what was appropriate to go into the potty. It was then that I realized that this would be a good idea for a children’s book. I figured that she was not the only toddler to struggle with this concept and that I could use a picture book to help teach other young children about better toileting behavior.

There is also a coloring page toward the end of the book for your child to have fun and get creative. This book is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble as a paperback and a Kindle ebook. Please click on the links below.

Here’s a simple easy-to-follow book about potty training. If you have a really little one, this book will come in very handy when it’s time to hang up the diapers. Gia’s mom is trying to teach Gia about what goes in and what doesn’t go in the potty.

Potty training can be demanding and tasking for both parent and child. Therefore, turning it into a comical experience can make it a semi-enjoyable milestone.
